Mr. Schnitzhofer delivers an energetic and well thought out approach to each of his design projects. The professional presentation of each of his designs, combined with his extensive background in heavy and light commercial structural design, using state-of-the-art structural software, has proven successful in Satisfying clientele. While working in Virginia, Mr. Schnitzhofer has provided commercial and residential design services in Staunton, Charlottesville, Richmond, Williamsburg, Augusta County, Lexington, Roanoke, Salem and Chesterfield County. Mr. Schnitzhofer is the current Education Committe Chair for the Historic Staunton Foundation Board of Directors and the Treasurer for the American Society of Civil Engineers – Charlottesville.

Associate

’Whole Brain’ thinker.

Left Brain: Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Trine University in Indiana. Employed in both Florida and Virginia as a structural engineer, Nicole has design and project management experience in commercial, residential and educational facilities. Building science is a second track of knowledge for Nicole that aims to educate the local community on the importance of safe, healthy structures that promote sustainability and energy conservation.

Right Brain: An avid artist, Nicole enjoys sewing, painting and creating stage designs for a local children’s ministry.  Relaxation equals good books, music festivals and Appalachian Trail hikes.

Nicole and her husband are parents to a wonderful little boy and owners of a loveable Saint Bernard. They reside in the mountains where the howl of a coyote, a bear sighting and cow pastures are all too common.

Nicholas (Nick) R, Goddeau, M.Ed, Associate of Science-Engineering

Associate

After five years leading Marines as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps, Nick provides structural engineering project management for projects in the Charlottesville office. He also manages the Charlottesville branch of Schnitzhofer & Associates, LLC. With a Master’s Degree in Education, Nick oversees our company-wide education programs. When he’s not traveling to new places with his wife, Nick tries to maintain his youth by running or testing his body on the rugby pitch.
